A RARE Hollywood Regency Style MCM lamp stand! This 3 tiered and 3 legged ornate cast brass (mixture of antique looking brass and polished brass) floor lamp stand is just amazing!
The ornate detail to each of the 3 tiers, the outer legs and the cherub lamp body show incredible craftsmanship. The old antique like brass mixed with the polished brass inner pole comes together nicely. This is an estate piece from the mid 20th century; definetly would fit right into a Hollywood Regency room. Stamped on the bottoms of the brass tiers: L & L WMC 8696. This mid century piece is in nice vintage condition with metal wear consistent with age, movement and use - patina and overall metal wear.
It needs a glass globe/scone for the top/recommend a frosted piece to add to the alure of this unusual one of a kind piece. Loevsky & Loevsky White Metal Castings - L & L WMC was a business located in Carlstadt, N. From about 1937 until at least the 1970s.
